I was asked by Sprintex to produce a prototype supercharger installation for this Honda Jazz. It works very well and was eventually put into production.
Sorry there is not more pics. These were never taken with a web site in mind.
Custom nose for the Sprintex supercharger.
The plenum is still due for some machining. The “O” ring grooves are visible in the throttle adapter.
Additional fuel injector added to the inlet of the supercharger.
Tight to get the drive past everything.
The inlet housing for the supercharger includes the bypass valve. The stainless steel pipe from the throttle body is fitted on 2 “O” rings on each end of the tube. This method work very well for non pressurized tubes..
No additional fasteners for the induction pipe make for a neat installation. In production it is easy to make and install.
The throttle was left in the original location for ease of installation. No need to change throttle cables or wiring.
Additional fuel injector in the inlet pipe.
Just fits under the bonnet.
Belt clearance is close to the radiator support panel.
Custom fuel rail is nestled under the plenum. The external surface of the plenum has been shot peened to get that casting look.
