About This Project

We put together the supercharger installation and exhaust system for this boat motor. This is the same engine / supercharger combination used in Ken’s dirt drag bike.

We started with a donor Toyota 1UZ. Very very good engine.

The underside of the inlet manifold.

The inside of the supercharger manifold. Simply cut off some bits, weld on some bits and machine it.

Supercharger inlet manifold started.

The top of the supercharger manifold attached to the supercharger.

Custom dry sump oil pan.

Custom Idler pulley mount.

Only experienced exhaust fabricators will appreciate what is going on here.

Some experimental press tools and a heap of wasted tube, I got what I was looking for.

The best collector in the whole world. Not really, just form over function in this case.

Tail pipes weld on include the water muffs for cooling.

The symmetry is good for my OCD.

Very proud of the finished product.

Getting its bum wet for the first time. Engine tuning was done by Race Torque.
