Engine Swap GS to Hayabusa

Ian asked me to do a simple engine swap on his Competition bike. The original engine was a 2 valve GS Suzuki to be replaced with a Series 2 Hayabusa. The original concept was to keep as much of the original bike as we could. It didn’t work out so good. Ian also wanted to keep the original to body work but change the fairing, upper and lower to TL Suzuki style. The bike is now 170mm (6.6″) narrower than a Hayabusa, which is going to help get it through the air.

Early days of this job it looked like it might go with a few small mods.The project will show that much of the bike is now new.
