Bravo Resources is a small engineering company in Perth, Western Australia. We pride ourselves on versatility and the ability to give it a go. We carry out specialised welding, turning, milling, grinding, sheetmetal fabrication, tube and pipe bending as well as CAD design of complete projects and many of the components.
This web site is about our history as well as what we are doing today. The “Projects” section of the site will show you a vast array of engineering works. I apologise for some of the picture quality, some are scanned from pictures stored in boxes for 30 years or more.
Commercial Engineering
Commercial Engineering is vague. At Bravo Resources, its anything else that isn’t aeroplanes, motorcycles, or performance modifications and repairs.
We have designed and manufactured complete machines, press tools, production tooling and many small components that require our particular skill set.
Some of our customers bring parts prepared for welding, other bring a sketch on a scrap of paper that require some interpretation.
You don’t need to be a professional engineer to use our service, you just need a dream or an idea.
Motorsport and Motorcycles
I have been involved with motorsport since the 1980’s. It has been an interesting journey. From meagre beginnings at Wanneroo Raceway to working with the FIA at the World Rally Championship, I have seen fantastic things, met and lost wonderful friends and worked with some of the best and worst motorsports administrators in the world. The “Motorsports” projects will show some of the interesting stuff.
At Bravo Resources, we have the opportunity to design and build some fantastic motorcycles. We are fortunate to have customers that want something different and allow us to go out on a designing limb to achieve something unique and special.
Aviation Engineering
Bravo Resources is the holder of Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) CAR 30 approval. We also hold CASA Welding Approval. The ”Aviation” projects page shows some of the numerous repairs and manufacture jobs we have done over the years.
Many of the aviation repairs are done in the field. We have the latest portable welding equipment to carry out steel and non-ferrous repairs at your location.
